My Story
Twenty-five years ago, during my first pregnancy, I enrolled in a birthing class taught by an extraordinary doula (Claire Stanley). Her compassionate and nurturing presence left a mark on me and my journey into motherhood. Reflecting on that experience, a seed was planted—a desire to become a doula myself.

Through the years of raising my own seven children, the calling to support and empower others during the sacred process of birth only grew stronger. Now that my kids are a little older, and some of them taking their own steps into the world, I am joyfully answering the call to wholeheartedly embrace my role as a doula.

With the experience of birthing my seven children in various ways—hospital births, home births, medicated, unmedicated, and even water births—I bring a unique perspective to my doula practice. My personal journey through different birthing methods along with my professional training through DONA (Doulas of North America) allows me to better understand and support the individual needs and preferences of expectant parents.
